“We Will Not Be Intimidated, Our Resolve To Serve Ghana Remains Strong” – Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang

The first female running mate for the largest opposition party in Ghana, NDC, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang making her first political speech today July 27 2020 has revealed that the party’s resolve to serve the nation remains strong such that they (NDC party) would not subject to intimidation and distractions.

The current most trending female politician who until her nomination as the running mate for NDC was known by many as a technocrat and independent opinion in the country has made a very bold statement to encourage the NDC supporters, faithfuls and sympathizers to remain focus in the fight for winning the 2020 general elections.

Addressing a ceremony to formally outdoor her candidature as the running mate for the party at UPSA, the affable woman was energized by the confidence the flag-bearer has reposed in her to boldly urge the party to unite to win 2020 election.

“I call on all our country men and women who believe that our country can once again travel the path of hope to come and join us. The time to do that is now. In the name of our country we go. We would not be intimidated, our resolve to serve this country is strong.” – Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang said.

She likened the call to her nephew’s speech which earned the applauds of the gathering. “Our resolve to serve this nation remains strong as my nephew will say ‘No Shaking’ and sometimes he adds ‘No Baga waya’. We will stay the course, we will not be distracted, we shall remain focus, we shall raise high the flag of Ghana. The time to do so is now and Insha Allah, we shall succeed” – She maintained.

She used the opportunity to thank the rank and file of the party for the confidence reposed in her.
