If Anyone Says We Have Abandoned Mahama’s Projects, It is ‘Nkontompo’ – Bawumia

The vice president of Ghana, H.E. Alhaji Dr Mahamoud Bawumia has entreated all Ghana citizenry, home and abroad to as a matter of fact consider anyone who says the Akufo Addo – Bawumia led NPP administration has abandoned projects started by the former president as complete lies, attempt to make the NPP unpopular.

Addressing the nation in a town-hall meeting and Results Fair on Tuesday night, 18th August 2020, the second gentleman of the the land describe any approach to make the NPP unpopular as ‘nkontompo’ which literally means falsehood.

“Contrary to propaganda, in addition to what we have done. we have also completed several health projects that we inherited from the previous government. Out of 30 projects we inherited in the health sector, we have completed 16 of them including 10 polyclinics, 2 district hospitals.” – Dr Bawumia said

He added that the NPP administration has also completed 27 of the E – blocks and for which reason he urges all to treat any rumor that the NPP government has abandoned the uncompleted projects of the previous government.

“But we also completed a number of sea defense projects that we inherited. So if anybody tells you we have abandoned it it must be ‘nkontompo’. And i must add that if you look at the E-block that a lot of noise is made about, it is very important to note that by the end of the previous government leaving office, they had completed 29 E-blocks. So we came in, since beginning of 2017-2019 we have completed 27 E-blocks. we inherited Somanya university and we have completed” – Bawumia added.
