Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo Maafo Describes Bawumia As A Super Hero

The words alone from the lips of the senior minister, Hon. Yaw Osafo – Maafo on the night of the town-hall meeting and results fair which was slated for Tuesday 18th August 2020, to describe the vice president H.E. Dr Bawumia, wowed Ghanaians home and beyond.

The appellations reigned on Dr Bawumia seemed he is a super hero in the current government such that his contributions to the development of the NPP administration is unmatched.

In his brief description of the second gentleman of Ghana, Hon. Yaw Osafo-Maafo acknowledged the efforts of Dr Bawumia and said; “For the first time in the history of this country, we have two gentlemen vying for power. Each of which has had the chance to run this country for about 4 years. So people will want them to show what they did when they were given the opportunity to serve this country”.

While thanking the ministers for the for the program, he added that “I have had the privilege of working with this young man when he was at the bank of Ghana when i was the finance minister and If there is any man who pays attention to details, it is Bawumia. If there is any man who provides a unalloyed support to his superior, in this case to governor Acquah, it is Bawumia. If one man has contributed positively to the performance of this current government, mind you, it is Bawumia.”

His introduction of the vice president, Dr Bawumia on the night was overwhelming. He maintained that Dr Bawumia is a very hardworking vice president who was at the beck and call to dot all the i(s) and cross all the t(s).

He ended his night’s short introductory speech by reiterating that the vice president remains the chairman of the economic management team contrary to what is projected by opponents. He therefore expressed his gratitude for working with him on the same team.

The town-hall meeting and results fair was held at the Academy of Arts and Sciences in Accra.
