Covid-19: Ghana, 7th Most Hit In Africa But With The Least Active Cases Among 10 Most Hit In Africa

Good news for Ghana in the fight against the novel Covid-19 pandemic is that, though it is the 7th most hit country in Africa, it is also the country with the least active cases among the ten most hit countries in the Africa continent.
The fight which seemed so easy in Ghana compared to other countries has claimed a total of 276 lives after recording a cumulative cases of 44,460 after 444,081 tests.
Out of the total confirmed cases, 43,121 have fully recovered and discharged while the nation battles with 1,063 active cases.
In Africa South Africa is the most hit with 628,259 cases, 549,993 recoveries and 64,003 active cases after 3,705,408 tests.

Egypt is second most hit with 99,115 cases, 73,828 recoveries and 19,847 active cases after a total of 135,000 tests.
The third most hit country is Morocco with 63,781 cumulative cases and 48,922 total recovery and 13,675 active cases after 1,956,416 tests.
Nigeria, first in West Africa but 4th in Africa has recorded a total of 54,247 cases with 42,010 total recoveries and 11,214 active cases. Ethiopia follows as the 5th most hit after recording 53,304 confirmed cases with 19,487 recoveries and 32,989 active cases after a total test of 928,453.
The 6th most hit country in the continent is Algeria with a total of 44,833 cases, 31,493 recoveries and now battling with 11,822 active cases.
Ghana comes 7th with 44,460 total cases, 276 death, 43,121 recoveries and now battling with 1,063 active cases. Six (6) are in critical or serious conditions and the cumulative test stands at 444,085.
Kenya has also recorded 34,315 cases and 8th most hit in Africa, has 20,211 recoveries and also battling with 13,527 active cases. Cameroon is 9th most hit after recording 19,409 cases with 17,651 total recoveries and 1,344 active cases.
Tenth most hit in Africa is Ivory Coast which has recorded 18,103 cases with 16,814 total recoveries and 1,172 active cases.
