Covid-19: Ghana Records 162 New Cases, Total Cases Now 44,460 And Death Toll Hits 276

Ghana is one of the countries which seem to have antidote to the deadly novel Covid-19 pandemic as the nation has for sometime now been recording low cases of confirmed cases.

Today, Ghana records 162 new cases which brings the total confirmed cases in the nation to 44,460. With a high rate of recovery or discharge, a total of 43,121 have fully recovered or discharged. four regions i.e. Upper east region, upper west region, Savannah region and North East regions have closed cases where there are no active cases.

With a total of 1,063 active cases left for the nation to contend with, 276 precious lives are lost though one of the least death toll in nation in the globe.

As usual, Greater Accra and Ashanti region lead with the most confirmed cases in Ghana with 22,190 and 10,868 respectively.

Greater Accra Region – 22,190

Ashanti Region – 10,868

Western Region – 2,957

Eastern Region – 2,294

Central Region – 1,874

Bono East Region – 763

Volta Region – 662

Western North Region – 619

Northern Region – 528

Bono Region – 511

Ahafo Region – 507

Upper East Region – 282

Oti Region – 234

Upper West Region – 88

Savannah Region – 62

North East Region – 19
