With the country’s total population of 59,481,669, South Africa has recorded 667,049 confirmed cases of the deadly coronavirus pandemic after 4,102,162 total tests.
This places them as the 10th most hit country in the world after USA, India, Brazil, Russia, Columbia, Peru, Mexico, Spain and Argentina respectively.
Currently, South Africa is battling with 54,850 active cases after 595,916 patients have fully recovered or discharged. That no alone, South Africa has lost 16,283 souls to this virus while 539 patients are still in critical or serious conditions.
Globally, the world has recorded 32,475,057 cases with 23,969,496 recoveries while a total of 988,735 souls are killed. Battling with 7,516,826 active cases, the globe has a total of 63,428 patients in critical or serious conditions.

Africa has so far recorded a total of 1,445,511 confirmed cases out of which 1,191,621 have fully recovered and discharged and 34,777 dead. Africa also battles with 219,113 active cases while 1,445 are in critical or serious conditions.
