Covid-19: Upper East Records 3 New Cases After Weeks Of Closed Cases, Total Death Toll Hits 286

The fight against the deadly novel coronavirus pandemic, i.e. Covid-19 seem not to end soon as the Upper East region of Ghana has recorded 3 new cases of the virus after weeks of closed cases.

Five regions in Ghana were noted to have closed cases of the pandemic together with Upper East region. So far four regions have closed cases and they are Upper west, Savannah, North East and Northern regions.

While Bono region is contending with one (1) active case, Greater Accra region is fighting 450 cases now followed by Central region, Eastern and Ashanti respectively with 120, 66, and 65 active cases.

Ghana has so far recorded 45,434 cases, 44,342 recoveries, 286 death and now contending with 806 active cases after 450,872 total tests.

Greater Accra Region – 22,921

Ashanti Region – 10,917

Western Region – 2,963

Eastern Region – 2,389

Central Region – 1,904

Bono East Region – 778

Volta Region – 668

Western North Region – 638

Northern Region – 528

Ahafo Region – 524

Bono Region – 511

Upper East Region – 285

Oti Region – 237

Upper West Region – 90

Savannah Region – 62

North East Region – 19
