The Difference Between Spiritual Gifts And Talents You Should Know

All along a majority of Christians have failed to understand the distinction between spiritual gifts and talents.

Even though they work hand in hand and most Christians turn to use them interchangeably, Spiritual gifts are something every believer is given when they receive the gift of salvation. Just as the gift of salvation is by grace through faith, so are the spiritual gifts. Our God is so generous. Every believer is given spiritual gifts when they receive the gift of salvation. Just as the gift of salvation is by grace through faith, so are the spiritual gifts whereas Talent is a result of something that already comes in your genetics or from a training on something. It is inherited and it is also used to benefit the individual.

As spiritual gifts are concerned with the saved, talents are for both the saved and unsaved. Gifts include the gifts of Knowledge, gifts of healing, Gifts of understanding, Prophesy, Wisdom, miracle working, Discernment, gifts of tongues. Talents also include the ability to play football.
