The founder and leader of Faith of Fire Ministry, Prophet Gideon Twum has added his voice to the recent killings of old women who are accused of witchcraft in the Savannah region of Ghana.
According to the powerful man of God, citizens and especially Christians should not be afraid of witches and wizards because it is a spiritual sickness just like malaria which affects us physically.
Speaking on ‘Asendua Ase’, a religious program on Radio 1 100.7fm hosted by Obido Nana Gyasi, Prophet Gideon Twum condemned the incidence and acts meted out to the so called witches and advised that men of God and Christians should stay calm even if there is a suspect among them.
Defending his stands using Galatians5:19 – 21; 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Prophet Gideon Twum entreated all to fight witchcraft with prayers and deal with it spiritually and not physical. He likened it to Malaria and Diabetes which are physical diseases but witchcraft is a spiritual disease and must be treated as such.
