Okyenhene Donates Two Pickups And Other Life Saving Equipments To Kyebi Government Hospital

The Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, paramount chief of Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area has once again been acknowledged for his enormous contribution towards beefing up the facilities of the institution by donating two brand new pick ups, 4 new washing machines and other life saving equipments to the Kyebi Government hospital.
In a ceremony to handover the equipments to the handlers of the facility on Monday October 26 2020 at the hospital’s park, Osagyefuo urged that handlers of the equipments take good care of the facility as the office of the Okyenhene will continuously do their best to support the institution.
The items donated include; 2 brand new pickups, theatre bed, Autoclave machines, Oxygen concentrators, Fetal dopplers, Vital Sign monitors, Patient monitors and a physiotherapy wheelchair.
The representative from the eastern regional health directorate acknowledged the overwhelming support from the traditional council especially to the Kyebi government hospital in ensuring quality work output and excellent health care delivery. The municipal chief executive of Abuakwa South, Hon. Kojo Ofori – Safo also assured the eminent chiefs of the land that he would use his good offices to ensure maintenance culture is practiced.

The municipal health director, however, could not hide her joy and gratified heart for the constant involvement of the traditional council in promoting good health care delivery. She added that the kind steps by the office of the Okyenhene should encourage other NGO’s to do same to support the government.
The medical superintendent of Kyebi Government hospital, Dr Richard Nii Darku Dodoo, graciously accepted the equipments thanked them but was quick to acknowledge other facilities in the institution provided by the office of the Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin.
The short ceremony saw a soothing atmosphere where workers of the institution were inspired by the inputs from the traditional authorities even as they were tasked to work all out with all their hearts.
Presence also were the queen mother of the Akyem Abuakwa traditional council, Nana Adutwumwaa Dokua, the abontendomhene, Osabarima Marfo Kwabrane and other eminent chiefs of the traditional council
