The paramount chief of Akyem Abuakwa Traditional area, Osagyefuo Amotia Ofori Panin has revealed that there is no better place in the country to build trauma hospital than in Kyebi.
According to the elite and one of the most powerful kings in Ghana, the geographical location of Kyebi makes the town best fit for the traumatic center as most accident patients are transferred to far places for medical attention.
Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin said this when giving a speech at a ceremony meant to donate two new pick ups, 4 new washing machines and other life saving equipments to the Kyebi Government Hospital at the premises of Kyebi Government hospital.
Osagyefuo explained further that most accidents that occur on the Accra -Kumasi Highway are around the Kyebi area and therefore the need to have trauma hospital in Kyebi.

He added that he has placed a request for the trauma hospital for over 20 years but to no avail but is confident that in the right time, Kyebi would have a trauma hospital.
