Fanteakwa South Successfully Ends Special Voting With 89.25% Turnout

The fanteakwa south constituency in the eastern region successfully ends its special voting with 89.25% turnout.
A total of 93 eligible voters were expected to cast their votes at Osino, the fanteakwa south capital. Out of the 93 eligible voters, 35 were female and 55 male.
A total of 83 eligible voters representing 89.25% could cast their votes. Even as only 48 male were present, all the 35 female were present to cast their votes.
The venue for this successful voting exercise is Osino with E2801SPS as the polling station code with Durbar Grounds Osino as the Polling Station Name.

As usual, the exercise started at exactly 7:00am and ended at 5:00pm. All the Covid-19 protocols were observed to help mitigate the effects of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
Present were the police and agents of the three parliamentary candidates. The three parliamentary candidates are Hon. Kofi Okyere Agyekum, NPP. Mr Fred Richard Kwashie Jnr, NDC and Mr Stephen Ayisi Gyan, the independent candidate.
The returning officer, Mr Kwadwo Affum expressed satisfaction over the outcome and wished the general election will be same as it ended peacefully.
All in Ghana, the same exercise is going one for all security personnel, media, EC staff and all those who would be on duty come December 7 2020 for the prime election.
