Dead Body Found At Bunso Junction

Residents of Nsutam in the fanteakwa South district in the eastern region woke up this morning to find the dead body of a man said to be in his mid 50’s lying down in front of Red Cross Emergency facility at Bunso Junction.

As to what have caused his death, it’s yet to he known. But he is seen lying down in a white linen but no blood spilled on the ground neither is there any cut on the body.

In an interview with drivers and station master at the taxi rank near the facility, they disclosed that the said man of which no one knew his name was spotted using the facility as his home for about a month or two ago and thought he was a security personnel (watchman) but they later found out he was mentally challenged.

However, the assembly member of the Nsutam – Nsuapemso electoral area, Hon. Alexander Boakye also revealed that he has reported the case to thebpolice, NADMO and the environmental services department of the assembly but none was present as at the time of granting the interview. He later appealed to the Ghana Red Cross Society, National Road Safety Authority and all those conceened to make use of the abandoned facility because if it was utilised, the deceased would not have made it his home.

For some time now, Bunso Junction has seen so many mentally challenged people sleeping around but attention has not been given to.
