The fanteakwa South District Census Officer, Mr George Obeng Asiedu sends a heartwarming new year message to the field workers, supervisors and the netizens of fanteakwa south district in the eastern region ahead of the third Trial Census in the said district.

As the district prepares for a third trial census from 4th January 2021, Mr George Asiedu urges his team to give out his or her best in collection of quality and reliable data.

He made this revelation in an interview with Obido Nana Gyasi of Radio 1 after discussing the readiness of the team to undertake the much awaited Trial Census in Fanteakwa South district.

 “Field work starts on the  4th of January, 2021 with the listing of structures. 17th January, 2021 is Trial Census Night Celebration and 18th January 2021 – 3rd February 2021is the Enumeration of households. So I’m urging everyone to give out his or her best in collection of quality and reliable data .Fanteakwa South District is depending on your efforts, your failure is our failure. Your success is our success. Go beyond every challenge to make this work done.” – DCO George Asiedu said.

Remember, when it comes to planning for the development of our nation, everyone counts, “help Ghana and the District to collect accurate and quality information about everyone to make the planning process for our socio-economic department a worthwhile exercise.” – he added.

He maintained that the success of the Trial Census depends on a collective approach and urged his team members make it a success. “Together, we can make the 2021 3rd Trial Population and Housing Census in Fanteakwa South District a success.” – DCO George Obeng Asiedu maintained.

The aim of the 3rd Trial Census is to test the process ahead of April / May 2021 POPULATION AND HOUSING CENSUS in GHANA.
