No Government Can End Hardship In Ghana – Alhaji Opass

The eastern regional NABCO coordinator who doubles as the regional deputy communication director, Alhaji Seidu popularly known in the political phase as Alhaji Opass has stated without mincing words that it is practically impossible for any government of Ghana to end hardship in the country.

According to the vociferous member of the ruling New Patrootic Party, Ghana has been facing difficulties since independence. The hardship and difficulties in Ghana will never be reduced as it keeps increasing everyday under various governance.

In a studio discussion with Obido Nana Gyasi on Radio 1 100.7fm, Alhaji Opass disclosed that the  NPP has done so much well to eradicate Hardship and has totally Abolished all the nuisance taxes the promised Ghanaians prior to election 2016.

“There is no Ghanaian that has ever said this year is better than last year. A critical example is with most traders in Ghana. They will tell you business is worse in the current year as compared to the past year. And it has never been better in the current year” – Alhaji Opass said.

However, he maintained that citizens complaining of hardship is relative but there is no political party in Ghana that can totally eradicate hardship in the country.

Ghana government has included in it’s 2021 budget some levies to make up in what it considers spendings to mitigate the effects of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.
