Two passengers are in critical condition as A Blue Sprinter with Yellow stripes also with registration number, GR 5685 -20 en route from Accra to Kumasi collides with a private four wheel KIA Sorrento with registration number GS 4004 – 21 also en route from Kumasi to Accra at Akyem Nsutam in the Fanteakwa South district in the eastern region.
According to eyewitnesses, the two overspeeding vehicles missed their calculations as the KIA Srento was overtaking.
The incident happened around 5pm today, May 30 2021, a few meters away from Paradise Exclusive Resort.
The Sprinter is said to have Summersaulted as it skids off the road and falls into the bush.

However, the KIA Sorrento only had a deflated tyre as well as mild damages.
No death was recorded, though the two in critical conditions have been rushed to Enyiresi Government hospital while the others who sustained mild injuries have been sent to Osino health Center.
The MTTD Department of the Ghana Police Service from Kyebi as well as Bunso Fire Service were there to ascertain the cause of the accident and also help to tow the two vehicles.
The incidence caused a small traffic jam as commuters are advised to slow down on the highway.
