Hon. Kwasi Ntori Adjabeng, the first District Chief Executive for Fanteakwa South District in the Eastern region who seeks to be re- appointed by the President of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo in his second term has revealed that his developmental projects in the last three years will land him another appointment in the president’ s second term.
Discussing the state of fanteakwa South; Before and Now. The District Chief Executive, convinced by his performance listed his achievement after assumption of office as the first DCE for the district.
He talked on Education, Road, Environment and Business.

Hon. Kwasi Ntori Adjabeng revealed that under his watch the district has built 5 new schools and rehabilitated 4 schools even as some are ongoing and others in the pipeline.
Schools built under his watch include; Saamang Methodist Primary School, Nsutam Presby Primary School, Osino D/A primary, Akyem Hemang Presby Primary School and Osino WSD School.
Schools Renovated under his watch are; Bomdwen Presby Primary School, Osino Methodist JHS, Osino R/C JHS and Juaso D/A.
This he said excludes that of the Member of Parliament but said the MP has also done a lot in the education sector.
According to him, there is no school under trees in his district.
ROAD
Speaking on the road network in the district, Hon. Kwasi Ntori Adjabeng revealed that a deplorable road network in the district is his biggest nightmare. He added that even as all the major roads in the districts are under construction, the speed at which they work is slow. He used the opportunity to appeal to the Road minister, Hon. Amoako Atta and the finance minister, Hon. Ken Ofori Atta to support the contractor financially to help him complete the roads ASAP.
BUSINESS
The DCE added that the assembly has completed major markets and is now working on the Osino market as promised. He said there has been an extension in the market, more stalls, washrooms are added, Abattoir is built and very soon the market will be ready for use completely.
ENVIRONMENT
One of the major cankers in Ghana of which fanteakwa South is not left out is the issue of Galamsey or illegal mining. While people are calling for his head in the galamsey menace, Hon. Kwasi Ntori Adjabeng explains that there are efforts put in place to mitigate the effects of the galamsey menace in the district contrary to the speculations.
Hon. Kwasi Ntori Adjabeng seized the opportunity to call on all and sundry to approach him with suggestions to help fight any menace.
