The Laailahlala hitmaker cum Radio presenter, Akyea Ebenezer known in the showbiz industry as Kean Roy shares his sad story.
A very nice looking gentleman with dreadlocks does not understand why Ghana Police stops him, interrogate him, search him before allowing him to go.
Speaking with Realglobal, harmless and innocent Kean Roy said the notion that anyone wearing dreadlocks is harmful, evil and perhaps wee smoker is wrong. He added that it’s about time the citizenry understand that there may be a handful of them tat have soiled the reputations of those who wear dreads.
“Anytime i’m returning from work in the evening, police patrol team stops me on the road, search my bag and ask me unnecessary questions before they allow me to go home. They always suspect me before i am wearing dreadlocks. Well, some of us are very clean and harmless so the police should not judge anyone they see wearing dreadlocks. They have been doing that for long but i think it’s getting too much”. – Kean Roy said.

Moreover, the talented rapper asked if the constitution forbids Ghanaians to wear dreadlocks. Kean Roy appealed to the Ghana Police service to desist from that notion for a majority of them are very clean and have very good hearts.
