The Holy Spirit And The Local Church

There have been a lot of teachings of which some turn to be very convincing while others also are more confusing when it comes to understanding the Holy Spirit and its impact in the church.
In as much as most churches believe in the existence of the holy spirit, some do not believe in its work in the church.
Paul captured the coming of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts 4:31-37;
“31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.
36 Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”), 37 sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet.”
After the day of Pentecost, the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit. Following that, the Holy Spirit gave them boldness to preach and facilitated the development of a communal relationship among the disciples.
In that spirit, the disciples went together to the temples to worship and preach. On one such occasion, Peter and John met one cripple at the gate of the temple (Beautiful gate) and healed him in the name of Jesus in the full glare of other worshippers.
This caused a stirring and many more came to believe in Jesus. However, out of enmity, the Jewish leaders started to persecute the disciples with the intent of stopping them from spreading the gospel message of forgiveness of sin and salvation through Jesus Christ.
Nonetheless, the disciples were not perturbed, but rather constituted themselves into a local church breaking bread together and meeting each other’s needs. They were also in constant prayer together.
As a church member, state the steps you would take to have yourself continually filled with the Holy Spirit.
