Francis Dodovi, a member of the Communication team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has commended the Acting Inspector-General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare for the arrest of Rev. Owusu Bempah
The Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, was arrested with three of his junior pastors for issuing threats, brandishing weapons and attacking Police officers on Sunday.
Meanwhile, he has been denied bail and remanded in police custody after appearing in court on Monday
Contributing to a panel discussion on Kumasi-based Hello FM, Francis Dodovi said: “arresting Owusu Bempah is a good step and he (Dr Akuffo Dampare) needs to be commended….some of these pastors need to know they can’t take the law into their own hands…he’s started on a good note”.
