Eastern Region Is Disappointed In The President – Kudjo Adukpo

The Eastern regional secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Kudjo Adukpo has
revealed that the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has failed his own people in the Eastern
region
.

Mr. Kudjo Adukpo, speaking on Radio 1 morning show in a phone interview with Nana Kwabena Addo On the 4th of October 2021, made some revelations about the president’s tour in the Eastern region

He stated that, since 1992, it’s only the NDC government that has developed Eastern Region because all
the good roads and hospitals Were By John Dramani Mahama and his party people.

According to him, the Akufo-Addo led NPP administration has virtually abandoned all projects started
under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration. ( ie the building of schools and roads). “The
president upon his assumption of office alleged that projects under NDC John Mahama’s administration
were overpriced so he pushed in over 6 million dollars for a legal team called African legal consult which
Mr. Gaby Otchere Darko is the head but nothing came out from it.”

He added that “the president should know that on his way to Atibie, the road he will pass on is the work
done by the former president and he is sure that the chiefs will ask the president why he couldn’t
complete the Atibie government hospital”.

“Mr. John Dramani Mahama who was a good leader came to the Eastern region and got to know that,
the president doesn’t have any potable water in his region and with him being a good leader built water
plant in areas like Kyebi, Osenase, Oda, and Akwatia.” – Mr. Kudjo insisted

Mr. Kudjo said, the president should rather focus on his Tamale interchange and not boast on the
Pokuase and Tema runabout interchange which was the project of the Former President John Dramani
Mahama

He concluded with his submission by wishing the president a safe journey and charged him to do
something for the nation.
