Celestine Donkor’s husband goes wild after receiving Gh¢390 as royalties from GHAMRO, Says it’s very shameful

The husband of Ghana gospel singer, Celestine Donkor, Kofi Donkor has reacted after GHAMRO sent her royalties for this year.

The Ghana Music Right Organization sent Ghc 390.40 to the gospel singer as royalties generated from her song this year and this has triggered her husband to angrily react.

Taking to his Facebook timeline, Kofi Donkor lamented over the amount of money they sent to her wife despite the long hours of work and travels for an artist to receive such a small amount of money as an income

He indicated that it’s unfair for an artiste to receive such amount as royalties after spending huge money to invest in their careers and records.

Mr. Kofi Donkor however called on industry players to stand against the amount of money they received from GHAMRO as royalties.

In his words, “We need to do everything possible to get the structures working so such insults will be a thing of the past!
