Yvonne Nelson wins defamatory case against Mona Gucci, court orders her to pay Ghc 500,000 as damages

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has reportedly won her defamatory case against media personality, Mona Gucci as court orders her to pay Ghc 500,000 as damages.

It would be recalled that Mona Gucci made a defamatory statement on Neat FM when giving out a list of female celebrities who are slay queens.

As you may know, slay queens are referred to as female celebrities who are gold diggers and pretend to live lavish lifestyles on social media.

Mona Gucci in the interview mentioned Yvonne Nelson as one of the celebrities in Ghana but the statement didn’t go down well with Yvonne Nelson hence demanded an apology and retraction but she refused.

Well, reports coming up suggest that Yvonne sued her but never appeared in court as she was being evasive when she was served the writ of summons.

According to reports, the court presided over by Justice John Eugene Nyante Nyandu has ordered that Ghc 500,000 should be paid by Mona Gucci to Yvonne Nelson and also render an apology for her defamatory comment in an interview.
