According to the renowned man of God, no one should be deceived to choose church over family. To him, all Christians should put their families first.
Discussing this topic on phone with Obido on Radio 1 100.7fm, Bishop Blay emphasised that the family is very important such that Jesus Christ at a time had to stop whatever he was doing and attend to his family.
“Don’t be deceived, there was family before church. If your family is not put in order you won’t have peace of mind at church. So choose your family over church” – Bishop Blay.
He added that Paul advised in the epistle to Timothy to ensure everyone puts his family in order before they be chosen as leaders of the church.

Bishop Blay argued that if the family is not Paramount, Prophet Eli in the Bible wouldn’t have ended the way he ended.
He concluded by advising Christians to accord all the necessary respects to who ever is due irrespective of their religion and that would portray their true Christianity.
