Fanteakwa North: Kwradaso Queen Launches Brass Band To Engage and Support The Unemployed Youth

Upon realising the youth are unemployed and engaging in immoral acts, she gas purchased instruments to establish a brass band in the district and has contracted professional instructors to teach them how to use the instruments.

This is to serve as an informal training school where the youth can make a living after they graduate.

“I realised the youth in my hometown, Kwradaso and Begoro are unemployed and are suffering in life. So I thought of what to do and I realised Brass band will help them. Something that would make them happy and make them stop smoking and other immoral acts. We take care of all them and have profeaaional instructors to help them” – Nana Hemaa Kyerewaa Amponsah said.

She added that the brass band is operate like a music school where the youth would be trained in the various fields in music so after graduation, another badge would be admitted.

At the colourful ceremony to launch the brass band, the Presbyterian church pastor advised them to work in oneness, peace and harmony. He entreated them to forgive each other and atop the numerous and unnecessary curses. According to Rev Amagyei Antwi, most road crashes are as a result of curses.

“Let us all forgive each other and live in harmony. Most of road accidents are as a result of curses. Though some drivers drive carelessly but most of them are as a result of curses. Let’s stop cursing ourselves.” – Rev Amagyei Antwi revealed.

The all important ceremony was graced by eminent chiefs in the area, Pastors, philanthropists and residents of Kwradaso, Begoro and Fanteakwa North at large.
