“Some Christian’s faith and understanding has made them poor and are suffering. Because you live according to what you understand. People are of the view that when you are poor, you can worship God well while some think otherwise. But what one needs to understand is that Christianity is not poverty, suffering or hardship. So if you become a Christian and you are not lazy but still suffering, find out why” – Bishop Blay said.

He added that Jesus Christ became poor so Christians could be rich so there is no justification for Christians poor Christians. Bishop Blay further urged Christians decode the ideology that Lazarus was poor so becoming poor is normal.

“You may be hardworking but not succeeding. This is when you have to inquire whether forces are against you or your doings are the cause. Your prayers can’t make you rich unless you practically change. Don’t be deceived that Lazarus was poor. Don’t be deceived that you can’t be rich and still serve God” – Bishop maintained.
