Baffour Theresa’s Foundation Donates Educational Materials Worth USD2,000 To Nkronso Methodist JHS

A non profitable Non- Governmental Organisation, Baffour Theresa’s foundation, donates educational and learning materials worth USD 2,000 to Nkronso Methodist basic school in the Abuakwa south Municipality in the eastern region.

The young foundation which was established in December 2021, began its first humanitarian activity with a donation to the above mentioned basic.

The items donated include: School uniforms, reading and library books, sports wears and other items including jersies, soccer balls, football, Volley balls, table tennis rackets and balls, etc.

Speaking at the grand ceremony to outdoor the foundation and present the items, Mrs Theresa Boakye explained that the vision of Baffour Theresa’s foundation is for humanitarian reasons and outreach ministry around the world According to her, the foundation is poised at offering several opportunities to the less endowed communities and provide scholarships, potable water and other pressing needs to the communities.

“The mission of Theresa and Baffour’s foundation is for humanitarian reasons and outreach ministry around the world. We want to create a solution to hunger, poverty and also bring clean water to developing countries and communities. We also want to establish relationships and programs that will make children successful. we want to initiate scholarships. We want to send people abroad to study. We want to build everlasting relationships and our primary purpose is excellence and what we see today is excellence. We strife for excellence” – Mrs Theresa said.

Chief Baffour also thanked his dear wife and the donors for donating to support the foundation and the community.

“Theresa, i thank you and your donors very much. As the adage goes, behind every successful man, there is a good woman but i say there is the best woman. i thank you and your church, and all the donors for supporting me, the foundation and the community. we say thank you very much” – Chief Baffour expressed.

The head teacher of the school also believes the donation is an answered prayer such that it came at a time they needed it most and also for choosing Nkronso Methodist JHS among the various schools in the community.

“We of Nkronso Methodist basic school believe that Baffour theresa’s foundation is God-sent as we feel an answered prayer. We thank you Nana for this benevolent act. I promise that all these items would be put in good use for the betterment of the school and for this community” – Mr Twum Ampofo added.

Like Oliver twist, the headmaster, Mr Twum Ampofo appealed that others learn from Baffour theresa’s foundation to support them fence their school.

The traditional authority from Nkronso and Asafo led by their chiefs and queens graced the occasion. Several citizens from the municipality including representatives from the educational service and staff of the school witnessed the ceremony.

There were various poem citations and displays of choreography at the ceremony at the compound of the Methodist basic school in Nkronso.
