The headmistress of Akyem Adukrom M/A Basic School in the Abuakwa South Municipality in the Eastern region, Mrs Harriet Agyei Akpetey passionately appeals to the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo to come to their aid.

This came forth after a delegation from Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, presented to the school assorted drinks and biscuits as part of his 60th birthday celebration.

In an interview with the media, the headmistress on behalf of the school, extended their heartfelt appreciation to Chairman Ofosu Ampofo, blessed him and like Oliver Twist, asked for more.

“We are very grateful to Chairman Ofosu Ampofo for remembering his alma mater. This came as a surprise and we thank him for that. We urge him to continue what he’s been doing but sometimes we want to see his personality. At least his presence will motivate the pupils to study hard.”
