Even as the concept of the public on Forestry Commission is to put in measures to protect and restore the forests, Concern citizens of Atewa landscape have different view about their operations in their territory.
According to the Concern Citizens, the operations of the Forestry Commission is killing the Atewa forest.
For this reason, they set a date for press conference to address the media on the numerous activities of the Forestry Commission that are killing the Atewa Forest.
The said press conference is slated for Tuesday 22nd March, 2022 and will take place at the Ghana International press center in Accra. The group selects media houses to broadcast the event.

Three media houses of the selected media are in the eastern region and they are; Radio 1 100.7FM, Susubiribi and Bryt FM.
Online sites invited are Ghanaweb and Ghana News Agency. The rest of the media houses are: Joy FM, Joynews TV, Joy TV, Ghone Tv and Star Fm, Class fm and Accra Fm, Power Fm, Metro TV, TV3 and 3 News, Onua Tv & FM, GBC, Andgel Fm and Citi FM.
Newspapers invited are: Ghanaian Times, Chronicle, Insight, Graphic, and the Herald.
Would these help solve the exponential rate of losing the forests?
