Teachers Are Worse Treated Under NPP Government – NDC Communication Team Member

NDC regional communication team member in the Eastern region of Ghana, Joshua Ofori has said teachers are not well treated under the governing New Patriotic Party.
Joshua Ofori speaking on Radio 1 morning show with Nana Kwabena Addo said his side concerning the plans of the Ghana Education Service (GES) to deduct 10 percent from salaries of teachers and Staff living in government bungalows as rent charges.
“You can’t count teachers out from development in a country. All professors can boast but the Teacher taught them all” – he said.
Also, Joshua said due to the major role teachers play in development making ,there is the need for them to be treated well but the NPP government is not doing so.

The reason why a student fails his or her exams is because teachers are not treated well and due to this , they can’t work whole heartedly .
He referred tye audience to the president’s comments he once made in a meeting with NAGRAT executives. “I don’t think you chose this occupation to enrich yourselves”
According to him, the presidents message indirectly meant he wont treat teachers well so they have decided not to treat teachers well. He concluded.
