A member of the eastern regional communication team for the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Baba Alhassan, who doubles as the treasurer for the Abuakwa south Constituency on the ticket of same party has said nothing is virtually working in the country such that the NPP will soon blame the underperformance of the EPL giant Manchester United on the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
According to him the Nana Akufo-Addo led NPP government is bent on apportioning blames and for sometime now is attributing the cause of fuel hikes and hardship in Ghana to the Russia – ukraine war.
In a studio discussion on Radio 1 100.7fm with Nana Addo as host on the Issues ( political show), the outspoken communicator differed completely with the submissions of the NPP with regards to the recent crises in Ghana.
“It has never happened in Ghana that Cabinet meets for 4 straight days but they are doing it now because the crises are unprecedented. Nana, the crises are overwhelming and you will hear their communicators attributing the crises to Covid and Russia – Ukraine war. Very soon these people will attribute the underperformance of Manchester United to the Russia – Ukraine war” – Baba Alhassan said.

He vehemently argued that the economic management team headed by the vice president H.E. Alhaji Dr Mahamud Bawumia has failed the nation and need to be reshuffled as soon as possible.
