A member of the NDC communication team in the eastern region, Joshua Ofori has asked the president of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to correct what he thinks and sees wrong with Ghana’s economy and stop apportioning blames.
According to him, the president made a whole lot of promises ahead of the general elections and that convinced the Ghanaian citizenry to vote him as president.
In a studio discussion with Nana Kwabena Addo on Oman mu Nsɛm on Radio 1 100.7fm, Joshua Ofori expressed his disappointment in the NPP and the president for not keeping to his promise but has resorted to blaming the former president John Dramani Mahama, E-Levy and Russia-Ukraine crisis for the abysmal performance of the economy.
He could again not fathom why the president and NPP government keeps on referring and comparing the hardships in Ghana to other countries and advised the president and NPP government to right the wrongs and stop the blame game.

That also came when discussing the presidents responses to the BBC reporter on the current state of Ghana Economy.
“I don’t know why the president keeps on referring and comparing as well as blaming people for the economic hardships. Ghanaians bought into his promises and voted for him thinking there was something wrong with Mahama’s administration. So now that he has the power and has ruled for over 5 years, he should right the wrongs and ANS stop the blame games. There is so much hardship” – Joshua Ofori said.
The president of the republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his live interview with BBC, admitted that there is hardship in Ghana but Ghana is not in it alone.
He attributed the hardship to the novel Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
