Erling Haaland passes medical tests ahead of transfer to become the new Man City player

Borussia Dortmund and Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland is set to join Manchester City in the upcoming transfer window after undergoing his medical tests.

Haaland is on the verge of completing his transfer to Manchester City, a move that has hung in the balance for so long a time.

The 21-year-old has already reached an agreement on personal terms with the English Premier League champions.

On Monday, May 9, 2022, in Brussels, the 21-year-old striker underwent medicals after being given time off by Borussia Dortmund.

Manchester City will now activate the release clause in Haaland’s Borussia Dortmund contract and the transfer is set to be made official this week.

This was made known by international sports journalist Fabrizio Romano in a tweet.

The Black and Yellows will receive a transfer fee of 75 million euros for the Norwegian international’s sale.

Haaland has been linked with a host of big clubs in recent months, including Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United. But Manchester City are set to win the race for his signature.

Haaland has scored 85 goals in 88 appearances since joining Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in January 2020.
