Fanteakwa South: Dr Gyan Launches Youth Empowerment & Decor Program

The Chief Executive Officer of Laud Balm and independent parliamentary candidate in fanteakwa South constituency in the 2020 general election, Dr Stephen Ayisi Gyan has successfully graduated the first Badge of Dr Gyan’s Youth Empowerment & Decor Program.

The all important program which seeks to provide hope for the teeming unemployed youth in the fanteakwa South constituency by sponsoring them in vocational training was officially launched alongside graduating the first badge.

Out of the about 50 individuals taking part in the program, four went through a successful and colourful graduation at Nsutam.

The new graduands were beauticians and they were fully sponsored by this Non profitable Non Governmental organization set up by Dr Stephen Ayisi Gyan.

Speaking at the occasion, Dr Gyan advised the public to go into entrepreneurship and not solely relying on government for employment after school.

“I have my degree but i have never been on the government’s employment list. I do my own job and I am comfortable. I therefore encourage you to choose your jobs and don’t rely only on government for employment” – Dr Gyan advised.

While the citizenry including the eyewitnesses praised his philanthropist move, the trainer and graduands could not stop thanking him for such a benevolent as he is well noted for in the constituency.

Dr Stephen Ayisi Gyan is affectionately called ‘Showboy’ by his constituents because since infancy through youthful stage to adulthood, he’s noted for committing his widow’s mite in supporting the marginalized.

Dr Stephen Ayisi Gyan contested the 2020 general election and garnered 5,775 votes representing 26.83% and he was second to the incumbent, Hon. Kofi Okyere-Agyekum.
