Use Power To Empower, Not To Abuse – Hon. Kingsley Agyemang

One of the handfuls of government appointees who have distinguished and transformed their organizations into first-class entities since assuming the mantle of leadership as the registrar of Ghana Scholarship Secretariat and using the mandate to positively effect the citizenry is Hon. Kingsley Agyemang.

Hon. Kingsley Agyemang is an affable and outstanding Ghanaian politician who is bent on leaving a trademark in the minds of anyone he encounters and could not do these without touching the lives of the citizens of Abuakwa South municipality in the eastern region, where he comes from.

Over the years, this gentleman has been providing support for the poor and needy but now the focus is on empowering the youth for the next generation. Working towards the aim, Hon. Kingsley Agyemang launched Quizzes and Time with Kingsley Series for the basic and Senior High schools.

He assured the gathering and entire residents of Abuakwa South that he would use his power to empower but not to abuse and therefore urged those in power to emulate same.

“… the next Ofori Atta, the next Akufo-Addo is here with us. So we will endeavour to use power to empower you. We will not use power to abuse you. Neither will we use power to lord over you. We will use power to serve you. So look up to me and be prepared to become more than me” – Hon. Kingsley Agyemang expressed.

The entire citizenry now believe Hon. Kingsley Agyemang is an emblem of kindness, generosity and humility at its peak.

The Scholarships Secretariat was established in 1960, as an extra ministerial body under the office of the president.
