Video: Heavy Downpour Displaces Many While Other Properties Lost At Nsutam

Yesterday’s heavy downpour has displaced many residents at Akyem Nsutam in the fanteakwa South District in the eastern region.
The rain started around 4pm and almost ended around 4am today.
This has caused flooding in 4 of the 5 communities in the town.
in Community 1, Zongo community and the Islamic school were affected.

in community 2, Many were displaced. While some slept in hotels, others slept in their cars.
Community 4 got their share where the SDA basic school got flooded and the pupils had to fetch out the water before studying.
In Community 5, the main bridge for the residents to their farm was taken away.
the only community that was spared was community 3.
As of the time of reporting, NADMO has not represented except the Assembly member and other opinion leaders of the town commiserating with the victims.
