Samuel Amuzu, better known in the entertainment industry as Anda da Rida, is a Ghanaian musician who currently resides in the United Kingdom.
He recently disclosed that one of the reasons he left Ghana was because MTN offered him Ghc600 per month with his Master’s Degree qualification as an incentive to leave the country.

During an interview that took place in the United Kingdom, he said that one of the primary motivations for his decision to leave Ghana was the fact that he applied for jobs at MTN.

According to him, the offer of Ghc600 a month came as a complete surprise, which he characterized as a humorous experience.

“I went for a job interview and I was informed that someone would come and interview me the person walked in at 12:00 instead of 11:30,” the individual who was awarded the Ghana Music Awards UK Discovery of the year in 2017 revealed.

He went on to say that when the interviewer arrived, he told him that the firm, MTN, would pay him Ghc600, which is an amount that is equivalent to what he earns in the UK on a daily basis.

According to him, the meagre earnings and other circumstances are reasons why no Ghanaian kid who is serious about their future should remain in the nation.

At the moment, Anda works for a British international telecoms company as an engineer in the field of telecommunications.
