Thousands Of Students And Citizens Participate In The Successful N. A. Kyerema’s Maiden Science And Technology Fair At Anyinam

Though the basic public schools in the 26 communities in Atiwa East District were ordered at the 9th hour not to participate in the maiden Science and Technology fair in the District.

All government appointees including the District Chief Executive and the District Education Director, failed to show up all because a powerful hand has ordered them not to attend.

However, the maiden occasion saw schools tripping in from Kwabeng, though uninvited to join the private basic schools in Atiwa East that showed up.

It was unbelievable as thousands gathered to witness and partake in the N. A. Kyerema’s Science and Technology fair 2022.

The all colorful and successful program came off yesterday at Anyinam Presby park where the Anyinam Chief, Barima Okogyeabusua Baning Duodu graced the occasion as special guest of honor with Mr Michael Gyapaa, MD for G4S Security Services Ltd as the Guest Speaker.

Barima Okogyeabusua Baning Duodu expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the organizers but was quick to register his displeasure to whosoever stopped the schools from participating in the exhibition. He advised the pupils to also make use of the STEM School at Akyem Abomosu.

The Managing Director for GS4 Security Services Ltd, Mr Michael Gyapaa also expressed his joy for being part of the program and revealed that the current generation are privileged to be introduced to the fair. He then promised to be part as and when it is organized again.

The leader of the foundation, Nana Agyei Kyerema also excited, recognized and thanked the gathering and the partners/exhibitors for the successful program. However, he promised to make it a yearly program and also organize Science Clubs in the various schools.

The gathering were taken through;

  • Zipline prototype drone
  • Services and entertainment drones
  • Robotics display
  • Hydroponics (planting without soil)
  • Live Cell (Malaria and Covid -19 cell) viewing under the microscope.
  • Lab Experiments

There was also activation of free malaria and Covid -19 screening.

All participants, including the elders enjoyed being part.

There was also representation from the National Ambulance Service, Ghana National Fire Service, The Ghana Police Service, and subchiefs of Anyinam traditional council.
