We Reject The Narration That NPP And NDC Are The Same, We Are Not The Same – Ofosu Ampofo

We don’t give promises and later review the promises we make, we are not like the NPP. For us, we give promises and act on them.
The experienced National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo is of the view that the NDC should not be compared to NPP on the basis that the two parties are the same.
According to him, there is no similarity between them (NDC) and the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP. While he claims NDC walk their talks and have a lot to show, the NPP are known for only building castles in the air and reviewing their promises.
“Our party records are very rich and our party cannot be compared to any other party. We reject the narration that the NDC and the NPP are the same. We are not the same. We are the party which delivers on promises. We don’t build castles in the air. When we say we will build hospitals, we build hospitals, when we say we will build schools, we build schools, when we say we will build interchanges and roads, we build roads. We don’t give promises and in two years we revise the promises when we have not even started one. That is not the records of the NDC” – Samuel Ofosu Ampofo said.

He added that when it comes to comparing and contrasting, the NDC is second to none. He recalled that during the 2016 general election the former president and the then flag-bearer of the NDC was busy commissioning projects and that earned him the title ‘Commissioner General’.
Hon. Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo made this known during the launch of the party’s book titled; ‘Administrative History of the NDC’.
“We are a party which is pragmatic, a party which delivers, a party for the people, a party that understands the cry of the people and understands the wishes and aspirations of the people. I believe that we need to tell our story very well and if we tell it, everyone will know that when it comes to comparing and contrasting, NDC is second to none” – Chairman Ofosu Ampofo maintained.
He used the occasion to laud the party faithfuls and urged them to believe in the party’s history and provisions made to capture power during the 2024 election.
