Imoro Ibrahim, a defender for Asante Kotoko, is reportedly close to signing with Al-Hilal Omdurman, one of the most successful teams in Sudan.
The gifted left-back will reportedly be joining the Blue Wave in a move that may be valued as much as $410,000, according to a report by Joy Sports.

Imoro had a very fruitful season during the 2021/22 campaign, during which he remarkably recorded eight assists. This led to Imoro’s high level of production.

The 22-year-old was one of the most valuable players for Kotoko during the Porcupine Warriors’ dominating run to the Ghana Premier League championship with three games to spare.

As a result of his achievements, he finished the season as the player who had the most assists, and he was also nominated for Player of the Year at the Ghana Football Awards in 2022.

According to Joy Sports, the first cost that Al-Hilal would pay to Kotoko for the signing of the left-back will be one hundred and fifty thousand dollars.

The remaining sum of the transfer price is said to be contingent on certain performance terms that have been included into the transaction, with the potential to reach $410,000.

Imoro, on the other hand, recently said that he is the finest left-back in the nation in response to comparisons made on social media with Hearts of Oak’s Dennis Korsah.

In July, the former Karela United defender gave an interview to GHOne TV, and during the interview, he said, “Yeah, I have worked for it, thus I regard myself as the greatest.”

Imoro is now a crucial part of the Black Galaxies and played in both legs of Ghana’s victory against Benin, which allowed Ghana to advance to the final round of qualifiers for the CHAN tournament. Benin was eliminated from the competition.
