Well-known Entertainment Pundit Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has said that rapper Sarkodie should be applauded for paving the way for Black Sherif.
Rapper Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu has been in the music industry for over 2 decades and has made an impact with his musical career. Arnold is of the opinion that Sarkodie paved the way for most artists.
During a discussion on United Television, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo opinionated that Sarkodie should be applauded for paving the way for young sensational artist Black Sherif to reach the international world with his music.
Arnold believes that Sarkodie was the first African artist to win the BET Best International Flow with his local dialect. He says that inspired Black Sherif to go far with his music and also penetrate the international market.
“The recognition is big but it will be icing on the cake if he wins it” Arnold added.

A few days ago, Boomplay Ghana’s public relations manager Paul Azumah-Ayitey gave the Golden Club plaque from the online music service. to Black Sherif for becoming the first artist from Ghana to exceed 100 million streams on Boomplay.
While giving the plaque to Black Sherif, Paul Azumah said, “For a platform that first discovered Black Sherif as a potential rising star, Boomplay is proud to see his phenomenal growth in such a short time. Boomplay’s Golden Club houses artists who have clocked and surpassed 100M streams.’
