Abuakwa State College (ABUSCO) Holds A Successful Time With Kingsley Series

Thousands of students, teachers and citenzry of Abuakwa South Municipality in the eastern region gathered at Abuakwa State College to participate in the maiden edition of Time With Kingsley Series.
Abuakwa State College (Abusco) hosted the first ‘Time With Kingsley Series’; a Coaching and Mentorship Program for all Senior High Schools in the Abuakwa South Municipality in the Eastern Region.
This is another laudable initiative of Dr Kingsley Agyemang, Registrar of the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat apart from his Science and Maths Quiz and Spelling Challenge to empower the future generation.
There were hosts of dignitaries to coach the students on career path to help them succeed in their decision makings.

There were various presentations from different achievers and these included; Dr Benedicta Naa Sums Nii Laryeafio, Dr Fred Appoh, Dr Stella Agyemang Duah, Kwabena Ampofo Appiah and Dr Kingsley Agyemang.
All presenters started from their humble beginnings and urged the students to be determined, persevere and never give up.
Dr Benedicta revealed how she failed her SHS exams and needed to write NovDec (remmedials) but could still become what she wanted.
Dr Stella Stella Agyemang also talked about how she was complexed when she didn’t get the school she wanted at the SHS level. Even the perception people had when she got enrolled at KNUST to read Agriculture yet she achieved her goal. She then advised that realistic goals can change so students should be ready to embrace any change.
Dr Fred Appoh ( CEO, REAMC Engineering Consult, UK) took turn to reveal the stress he went through by reading so many courses before getting his desired course. So he advised they remain focus and never give up.
The M.D for State Housing Company, Kwabena Ampofo Appiah also revealed how he defied his parents choice for him to become what he is now. Been born into a family of medics, they want noted him to also choose medicine or a health related course. But when he identified his interest, he could convince his parents and therefore diverted from Science to Arts.
The founder of the Kingsley Quizzes, Dr Kingsley Agyemang urged the students on to take advantage of any opportunities that come their way and make relationship a paper currency.
Assisted by Friends Of Dr Bawumia, Dr Kingsley Agyemang used the ocassion to also donate books, digital piano and a cash token to the school.
The headmaster of the school, Mr Eric Hanson Adjei-Sarpong received the items on behalf of the school and thanked the organizers of the program but was quick to use the opportunity to invite them to their upcoming 85th anniversary.
Present at the august ocassion were also Mr Daniel Yeboah Hienno (Municipal Director of Education), Abuakwa South NPP Executives, Party faithfuls and friends of Kingsley Agyemang.
