Former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari has urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to keep the squad or the Black Stars team despite exit from the 2022 World Cup.
The Ghana Black Stars were unable to qualify for the 16th round after their match against Uruguay which led to their exit from the football match.
After the disqualification of the Black Stars team, a lot of concerned Ghanaians suggested that the team be dissolved and get new players. However, Sulle Muntari has a different opinion about the Black Stars team.

“I can’t wait to see these kids progress not now, but in the future. Like hold them together, I am one but of course, I am going to talk to the management, coaches, and probably the President, you don’t dismantle this team,” he told 3Sports.

“Whatever happens here, you still hold these kids because they are very young. You don’t change most of them, just a little maybe one or two then you just polish them. Let say 8-9 players should be the base for the future of the national team. Eight players should be like the foundation of the Black Stars” he added.
