Impressive, Thousands Gather To Support The Outdooring Of Nana Appea Sarpomaa Kumakuma I, Queen Mother Of Dwenase

It was an overwhelming ceremony as thousands of the Ghanaian citizens near and far gathered at Akyem Dwenase to support the outdooring of the new queen, Nana Appea Sarpomaa Kumakuma I.
The all important and much awaited ceremony was first of its kind in the town to be able to converge thousands of indegenes and non indegenes as far as traditional (chieftaincy) program is concerned.
It was merry, cultural and spirituality combined as all traditions were observed.
Dr Alex Kesse, General Manager of Agogo Government Hospital and an uncle of Nana Appea Sarpomaa Kumakuma I, graced the ocassion as chairman. He emphasized on the need to unite to support his niece and the community.

The special guest was Hon. Ernest Ofosu, District Chief Executive of Fanteakwa South and he also lauded the queen for such a great feat. Hon. Ernest Ofosu promised to support the queen in developing the community. He promised to build a police station and enhance water facilities in the town by end of the year 2023.
It was very awesome, as representatives from the NPP and NDC contributed their quota in support of the program.
Loyal ladies of the NPP, Ghana Hairdressers And Beauticians Association (GHABA), Mummies Empire (NGO), various churches within the community and a host of the citizenry made the occasion a very memorable indeed.
The new queen, Nana Appea Sarpomaa Kumakuma I, in her investiture speech appealed for unity and support to lead Dwenaseman. She also promised to make education a priority especially with the girl child. Queen mother, Nana Appea Sarpomaa Kumakuma I, was an inspiration to the gathering as she touched on both formal and informal education.
A host of queen mothers from the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area were present and a solidarity message from the Osino Hemaa, Nana Adoma Agyemang III was heard. It was indeed a structured program.
Scores of Akyem Abuakwa Chiefs also graced the memorable occasion.
Among other special guests for the ceremony included; Ambassador and Mrs Baah Duodu, Lawyer and Mrs Adom Asomaning.
Kyebi Divisional Police ensured there was enough security on the ground.
