Incumbent Member of Parliament for Madina, Francis Xavier Sosu has described his going unopposed in the ongoing National Democratic Congress(NDC) Parliamentary primary as a blessing in disguise but very stressful.
According to the lawyer cum politician, apart from the psychological stress knowing that a decision is being made on him, all other stress remains the same.
“The financial stress, the demands, coordinating a congress like this, making sure you provide the necessary logistics support for the conference. That is what I’ve been doing from yesterday till today, I’m glad that I’m able to do that in support of the constituency and the party,” Lawyer Sosu told Starr News at the polling centre.
He said the target is to achieve 90% turn out, out of about 2800 voters and achieve 100% votes for ex-President John Mahama.
