Former Liverpool talisman Sadio Mane is reportedly close to leaving Bayern Munich, according to Bild. According to reports, the other player leaving the German giant’s camp is ex-Arsenal player Serge Gnabry.
However, Chelsea stands to gain if Mane decides to leave. According to the German magazine Bild, the Blues have recently expressed interest in bringing the former Liverpool attacker back to the Premier League.
This is true even though the last two transfer windows saw a massive investment of £600 million. According to Bild, Bayern are willing to let Mane go following his apparent altercation with Leroy Sane off the pitch.
Mane spent six years at Liverpool before joining Bayern last summer, where he contributed to the Reds’ Champions League and Premier League triumphs. The dominant teams in the Bundesliga are reportedly open to trading for Mane in exchange for Napoli’s outstanding forward Victor Osimhen.

However, it is said that Mane’s salary is “probably too much” for the future Serie A champions.
The Blues have also been considered as a possible forward replacement. In 269 games for Liverpool, Mane scored 120 goals. In 35 games this season for Bayern, he has scored 12.
