Choosing Bawumia and Francis Djetse for Yilo Krobo would be a win – Group tells NPP

The New Patriotic Party, in the Yilo Krobo constituency, has been charged to elect Hon. Francis Djetse Appertey as their parliamentary candidate once again for the Yilo Krobo constituency in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
The group which was made up of “seamstresses,” hairdressers, “Barbers” said ever since he started contesting the parliamentary seat in the constituency, he has been of tremendous help to them as he has provided with financial and logistical support without considering political coloration of the beneficiaries.
They suggested that the NPP hierarchy should consider holding talks with other interested aspirants to pave the way for the Hon. Francis Djetse Appertey to go unopposed to enable him to win the seat for the NPP he is the only person capable of snatching the seat from the NDC for the first time.
The leader of the group numbering over three hundred, Mr. Abatey Joseph Narh, who is also the President of the Yilo Krobo Beauticians Association, ( GNAGM) said the NPP parliamentary aspirant has a lot of achievements in the constituency and failure to elect him will constitute grounds for the NPP’s usual defeat in the Yilo Krobo constituency.

Mr. Abatey Joseph Narh further stated that Hon. Appertey Djetse would be a strategic candidate for the NPP and that they can win the Yilo Krobo seat with him as the candidate.
He also mentioned that Hon. Djetse Appertey has been at the forefront of championing many NPP initiatives in the Yilo Krobo constituency.
He however, extolled the sterling qualities of Dr. Bawumia and Hon. Appertey Djetse as an experienced and selfless individuals with good gestures of philanthropy that have touched every ‘ “nook and cranny”’ of the NPP party and the entire constituents in the Yilo Krobo constituency.
The group pointed out that, they prefer Hon. Francis Appertey Djetse because of his performance, smartness, and his ability to practice politics of inclusiveness and emphasized that the election will be about the content of what the person is doing and has provided for the constituency rather than anything else.
