Mr. Okyere Boateng an environmentalist speaking on Radio 1 environmental program ‘Our Land Our Future’ with Michael Agyapong Agyapa has revealed that being part of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will make it easier for you to mine illegally.

“It’s not easy to fight galamsey in Ghana and so far as you are part of the NPP, you can do galamsey freely,” he stated

Okyere Boateng added that as a member of the NPP government, you have the ticket to engage in galamsey if only you are interested.

He stressed that these attitudes have made it possible to fight against galamsey and the fight is near possible.
