E/R : One dead in an accident at Abenase

On Thursday morning, a motorcyclist was crushed to death in Abenase, Ofoase Ayirebi constituency, Eastern region.
Haruna, the motor rider, allegedly failed to observe road traffic regulations when joining the main road at Abenase while a speeding commercial vehicle was traveling from Ayirebi to Abenase.
The vehicle crushed the motor rider and dragged him away from the vehicle.
The rider was extricated from beneath the car with severe injuries and rushed to Oda Government Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

On his motorcycle, the rider known as Abotsi sells cloth and fabrics.
He was on his way home from his routine business rounds when he was killed.
