The leader of Cherubim and Seraphim Paradise church of Ghana, Prophet Gideon Twumasi popularly known as Odiifoɔ Twumasi has waded into the controversies of passing a bill to plant marijuana for commercial purposes.
According to him, he has no problem with Parliament passing the bill but had some exceptions and advice to the government.
Prophet Gideon Twumasi in a studio program (Asendua Ase) with Obido on Radio 1 100.7fm, stated that even as he has no problem with the legalization, he would not advise or bless his church members to engage in the “wee” farming.
“This is very controversial but I say what the bible says. I will teach my church members the negative aspects of ‘wee’ and the other effects. I will not encourage my congregants to go into the ‘wee’ farming. If government’s intention is to generate money, I’ll ask government the impacts of gold, bauxite, cocoa and others. I’ll again advise government not to involve individuals but make it state farms so it can be monitored” – Prophet Gideon Twumasi said.
